Saw the cutest thing today! Someone had their little Pomeranian or some other fluffy dog in a pet stroller and it had a cute little cone of shame on its neck! ADORABLE!!!
The best profits for the convenience store are from the fountain drinks. The best value for the consumer are the fountain drinks. Take advantage of the refills. Big Gatorade bottles are 32 ounces. If you remove the label and clearly write that it is a refill and how big it is, the cashier will ring it up as a refill and you save a lot.
That goes with thermoses and travel mugs. I have to guess how big the mug is, so I sometimes overcharge people for a travel mug coffee refill, ringing it up as 16 ounce instead of 12 ounce, or 20 ounce instead of 16. Label the size clearly and you will be charged the correct rate every time.
Help us out by not paying with big bills if you don’t need to. I can keep $100 in my drawer at most during the day and only have a chance of breaking it if my manager hasn’t taken money to the bank. If you are buying $80 or more, its fine and I can break it at $65 or more sometimes. Don’t buy a $0.69 item and expect that I can break the bill. The same applies to $50 bills. I only break them if they buy more than $25.
Basically use bills that correspond to how much you are buying. Please don’t buy that $0.69 item with a $20.00 either. We also need $10, $5, and $1 bills. Stick with those if you can but I understand that sometimes there is no other choice. I am not a bank.
I recently read an interesting article on Yahoo that talks about how the new iOS 7 will be the star of the new iPhone. Reading through the article, there are many things that will make my iPhone 4 run better than it had before. The issue for me is how much better the phone will be. I have been seeing a trend with the iPhone that reminds me of the one with the Blackberry.
The Blackberry was a trendsetter in their market. It continued to achieve great things because there wasn’t great competition. When things started to develop, it fell behind because it offered nothing new. The graphics and games were sub-par and many popular things like Tumblr and Instagram wouldn’t run on the Blackberry. Most of their models ran without touch screens and their only innovations were the keyboard of the Pearl, the trackball, and flip-phone blackberries. Look at Blackberry OS 4 and Blackberry OS 6, and what is the huge difference?
I hope for Apple’s sake that this isn’t the trend they will follow. Their computers followed this trend for a little while too. Their iBooks and PowerBooks were the best of the best but PCs now have the same or better features and are often cheaper. The one thing to say for Apple is that they still have a closed system mentality and still sell millions of laptops, and millions of iPhones. iOS has a great marketshare when you look at the fact that there are limited models compared to the Android market that has hundreds of models.
Kell fell asleep on the couch one night so we gave him a pillow and a blanket Which we made out of kleenex because we always have those around on our coffee table for when we watch feely stuff
